I have found if WiFi is switched on on my Fenix 6x Sapphire the battery drains from 100% to nil in about 24-36 hours depending on activity. It also freezes regularly. Switch WiFi off and I get 3 weeks and never freezes. Garmin are supposedly looking into it as have said they have not had this before. After 48 h: From 100% to 90%! Firmware-Version 20.0, Fenix 5x, no third part Apps or Widgets!. Seconds are displayed in my Watchface. It is my third Fenix 5x and I had never had problems with the battery life. On the two first units, I had problems with the USB-Connectot (pin 3!). But now, it seems tha tthe problem has been fixed! - wrist HR : enabled (like Fenix 5) - no GPS usage (no activities so far) - 1 custom Europe map on device but not used at all until now - usual notification amount (compared to Fenix 5) - no music on device - same custom watch face as Fenix 5. I am used to a battery drain of 7% per day. This results in approx 14 days of runtime. With the 5.40 update (even earlier) you've just broke the 3 HR! Every time it's connected to Garmin Connect IQ, the watch just restarts continuously, the altimeter it's bouncing every minute (+/- 10m), the battery drains much faster (watch is new, purchased in APRIL 2019). My phone has ANT connection so both foot pod and HR works in zwift (I prefer HR strap more than broadcast HR from forerunner watch). So over the night my Fenix 6x Pro Solar auto updated to firmware 6.60. I was excited, but when I went to bed my percentage was at about 58%, but then when I woke up it was at 30%. In the last couple hours along with keeping the watch in the sun charging I have already dropped 2%. According to Garmin, Body Battery combines heart rate variability (above).
